Hey , First i would like to say im new to dsms but not mechanical work. In a past life i was a diesel mechanic. However i need some real time assistance with my 95 tsi awd turbo. I did so much research got the haynes manual and surfed almost every thread on the site but i still feel a little aprehensive about attacking the task of removing my stocker and rebuilding it or buying a new one.
My first question, that im sure you knowledgeable dsmers can help me with is .
How effective is rebuilding the stock turbo ie. how long will it last for daily driving?
Second, if i was to upgrade what mods are cost effective and long lating?
Third , any dsmers who can spare a little time and would be willing to help a fellow out and live in the philly area please drop me a line.
