ok so i know this has been posted about 8 million times....but, its not just about an evo FMIC. I was wondering what pipe to run off my stock turbo to get to the drivers side. thanks. o and by the way its a T-25

Just for future reference, let us know what your spool up is by RPM before and after the install.

And I havent really looked at the Evo FMIC that much, but shouldnt you be running that tubing off the turbo to the passenger side?

Evo FMIC is hardly worth it. but if you must........ the best way to do it is to have the compressor outlet cut off and turned around. I cant remeber what there might be for clearance issues, its been a few days since I have had a t25..

well the only reason i am doing the evo FMIC is because i got it really cheap.as for the spool ill let you know as soon as i get it on. but i still dont know how i am going to come off the turbo and shoot it out the other way

i might get a U-J pipe or what ever its called from xtremepsi

J-Pipes are for turbos that route the piping upwards, unlike the T-25. The J-Pipe routes it back down to where your T-25 piping is currently at so that you can use your current SMIC. Other J-Pipes do the same thing but are angled in the direction of the drivers side. Either way, it's not going to do you any good on a T-25 turbo.

The best thing to do would be cut the T-25's compressor housing pipe off and then just get a 90* coupler (or re-weld the bend section so that it faces towards the drivers side).

Dejon sells a "U" pipe for the T25 when you're using a front mount (so you don't need to cut your T25 elbow off) If you check out how Dejon routes their pipes you'll probably find your answer :thumb:

ok thanks ill check it out, the pipe i was talking about was like a U pipe with a little angle on it than a straight pipe all connected

Forget about Dejon, take a look at ETS's dsm intercooler piping section. Their "U" Pipe is only $65. Pics below....2nd pic is a custom job, not the ETS pipe but is there for reference to show you how it is installed.
