Help With Idle

i'm having problems with starting the car lately, when i crank the car it turns over a couple times and then starts up and idles incredibly low for about 5-10 seconds...sometimes not even that long and just hesitates and dies. crank it again, give some gass to keep it a little higher and after a while it starts smoothing out and idling correctly. I'm wondering what would cause this problem, i was thinking it would be the vacuum hose for my boost gauge being pinched but not sure. fuel problem? who knows but i need an answer!!!!

my n/t talon did the same thing and it turned out that the fuel filter was clogged so i changed it, and it was fine after that, also is your battery fully charged becasue my tsi was doing that and it was becasue the battery was almost dead, the car would jsut bairly start but before the altinator could give it power the battery died and so did the car...but i also had to give the car a boost to get it to start also...hope that helps !!

try running some injector cleaner though the system also. even if the fuel filter helps.

And clean the throttle body too.
