The screw that you ajust your idle with in the throttle body i lost when it was out today, i need a new one as i am selling the car 2marro and dont no what to do. Is this screw speacal or can i go to a hardware store and buy something like it? Will one off of a 96 gst work or are then different? thanks!!

If you're talking about the BISS, I don't know if the 1g/2g are the same, but yes it's a special screw. It has an o-ring on it to seal it in the TB. You might luck out by going to a Mitsu dealership and getting one (Base idle set screw). Or go to a junkyard and get one (tricky to get it out of the hole, so take a toolbox with something to extract it from the TB - the o-ring keeps it kind of snug so that it won't just lift out without a bit of a fight).

Price is under $10.00 MSRP for the screw, o ring, and cap.
Part numbers are MD614948, MD608806, and MD614150 respectively.

The part numbers are the same for 90-99 with exception of the cap that is part number MD614532 for a 2g 7 bolt.

Surprisingly, the cap is the most expensive part, but you can get away with just the screw and o ring obviously. (about $5.00)

You have a small leak there. Take out that silicone and check the O-ring in it if its still good or if it has one. When I got my FWD it had it too and it didn't have an O-ring on it.

Probably because the previous owner found that it was leaking and was too lazy/cheap/etc. to go buy a new o-ring (and probably screw and cap). Take the screw out, clean out all the silicone in the tb, and replace it all.
