keydiver boost gauge into knock gauge 2g

I was wondering if anyone new much about how good this worked to use as a knock gauge. Obviously its not going to do much into telling you how much knock you got, but if you see it move at all is that a good sign you have knock, or is there no way to use this on a 2g since there is no knock sensor? I ask this because whenever I had a ic coupler pop off the gauge pegs itself like its working.

i had mine converted to a knock sum gauge when i got me chip from them. It worked great showed every little bit of knock. and to a certain part it shows how much knock, like the first notch on the gauge is 5 counts of knock 2nd notch is 10 counts and top is 15 counts of knock if my memory serves me right (coulnt check site was down for maintance) and in a 2g turbo there is a knock sensor so it will work great, and as far as the stock boost gauge it works off of the mas sensor so if it see's it pulling in air it would show it as boost i would believe. i never had one pop off

The gauge isnt the most accurate thing in the world, but it will give you a good idea of what your engine is doing and if there is any problem
