So I just downloaded the MMCD software and went to try to install it on my data logger but its not going so good. When I connect my data logger to my computer I get this message.....

The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again.

I'v retried this a couple different times, even tried it on a different computer and I'm still getting this message. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this thing to work?

I also tried using mmcd, and had trouble with it. I ended up using the obdII logger. What device are you using? I just have an m100

My problem isnt the MMCD software, it that I cant get my logger to connect with my computer. I'm at work right now I think its the Palm 505. This is also for a 1G.

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. My check engine lights on and my cars running kind of shitty and I need to get this thing up and running so I can check it.

I'm still waiting on the cable to get here so I can connect it to my car, it should be here today according to the tracking number.

My problem is when I connect my Palm to my computer, my computer gives me this message. "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

I'v cant get it to connect to my computer so I can download MMCD onto my Palm.

Do you have mmcd running on your computer when you try to hotsync? Was your computer equipped with the db9 port from the factory?

Are you connecting the palm via USB, Serial or what? You might try to update the drivers for what ever port your using on your computer. Check your device manager and see if the port you are trying to use to connect to the palm with doesn't have any errors. It would have an exclamation mark over it if there is a problem with it. And make sure that the drivers are installed properly for the palm, it might need some kinda driver disk or something.
