Long story short, I parked my car last night, everything fine and normal. Today, I go out and put in a new MAS and start 'er up. Hmm, sounds good, engine is smooth, still a stutter here and there, but its always done that. I walk around to listen to the exhaust, and notice tiny little puffs of white steam (not smoke) 'seeping' out of the tailpipe. Huh, steam=coolant=blown head gasket. Well hell. I was just messing with the exhaust last week and didnt notice any steam. In addition, i replaced the spark plugs a few weeks ago and they seemed fine, no funny colors. But ahh, it was cold and rainy this morning, though its sunny and in the high 40s now. How much steam is typically produced when a HG has blown? Am I overreacting here?

It's more likely to be just some condensation built up in the exhaust pipe, nothing to worry about.

Have you ever noticed when it's cold outside, every car driving down the road has steam coming from their pipes? H2O is a natural byproduct of combustion engines, it's quite normal.

:thumb: Good to go!

Wouldnt worry about it, especially if you are in a humid part of texas, it is most likely just condensation
