i was just recently driving my car. about an hour ago to be exact. i down shifted and went back to get on the throttle and there was nothing there. then the car just started taking off(going faster) without my foot on the throttle. so i hurried up and shut the car off an pull to the side of the road. i popped the hood and checked my throttle body and the throttle was stuck open. then i relized that my throttle cable was frayed going back into the coating. i took the cover off the cruise control setup and where the cable was coming back out of the coating it was frayed there also. i was wondering if any body knows if the throttle cable is two pieces? and also how to replace it? how hard is it to replace it? my haynes manual doesnt show how to replace it. thanks

Not sure if N/Ts are different than turbo cars, but on turbo cars without cruise control, it is one cable. One turbo cars with cruise control, there are 2 or maybe 3 cables. I removed my cruise control a loooong time ago...
