Fuel pump!! HELP!!

ok so my fuel pump was whining really bad, I ordered a new one and installed it. The car started and ran for about 3 mins and then just sputtered out. I put the old pump back in there and it did the same thing. I t keeps doin this, but if i pump on the gas as its dying then it will stay started just sound like a suby. does anyone might know what could be the problem? NEED HELP ASAP!! Thanks

Check for a clogged fuel filter.

1st obviously make sure everythning was installed correctly, when you released fuel pressure make sure you plug back in everythin you disconnected.

2nd if its a walbro... its gunna wine but the sputter out part isnt normal so i would also check for clogs

Also check your fuel. If you got bad fuel that will mess up the pump the filter and make your car run bad.
