i understnad how it works, but still have a few Qs.

like for example lets say i get a chip set for the stock turbo, but then later on i upgrade to say a GT35r, do i resend the chip back out to him or what? also how would i switch from pump gas to say race gas...just turn up the boost and throw some C16 in the tank and mess around with a SAFC?

bascially im asking what do you do when you perform a major modification but have the chip burned for a 14b on 15lbs vs a gt35r at 22 pounds. thanks

First of all, I don't believe the Chips is tuned specific to the turbo you have, but rather to the injectors you have.

But since you would most likely be upgrading injectors to go to a bigger turbo, yes you can send the chip back to him. He charges $20 for adjusting and burnign a new chip, though you have to send your old one back to him once you get the new one.

The chip is burned for MAF compensation and injector size (and anything else you want pretty much i.e. max timing, nlts, etc.) Jeff from keydiver adjusts the global fuel and dead time for the correct injector sizing. Upgrading turbos wont matter, however upgrading fuel inectors will. If you do need something changed they will re burn you the chip for like 20 bucks.

As far as the pump/race gas is concerned, you would just turn up the boost and pull some fuel out on your afc. I would reccomend getting a WBO2 so you know what your AFR's are, not just guess.

IIf you have a 14b and run 15lbs, versus a 35r with 22 lbs, you will surely need a reburn..because you will need to most definately upgrade teh injectors (unless you plan on running 950-1000cc injectors with the 14b). :thumb:

As said before the chip is burned for a specific injector size. If you get 1000cc injectors now for your stock turbo and get the chip, it will work on your stock turbo and even when you get the GT35r.

You can also get a custom A/F ratio burned on the chip. For example, if you want to run 11.5 A/F ration, you can ask for this fuel map and it will be burned on the chip by Jeff.

As for pump gas and race gas, you have 2 options:
1) Take out fuel with a SAFC (as mentioned above) or
2) Burn a dual image - it basically has 2 maps that are selectable by a switch that you wire.
