cutting the turbine housing in evo III 16g

has anyone here tried cutting the divider in the turbine housing in an evo III 16g to eliminate boost creep?

the turbo has already been ported in the inlet and outlet and it also has a 34mm flapper and I still have the boost creep problem

Wouldn't an external, larger wastegate and a quicker BOV help this? I'm sure there's not very many of us prepared monetarily to go this route, but it should work, right?

I would never recommend this. Bad idea.

Anthony's right. There are other options available that could reduce creep other than cutting the divider. It's an option that you would want to save until nothing else worked.

How about the Bullseye turbine housing.

An external wastegate will fix your problems, and if you decide to upgrade turbo's again later, you will already be one step ahead of the game.

It doesn't seem that it would hurt much structurally.

Garsh. I was just a jokin'. And I replied and gave you some more bus-wheel-rpm...maybe. But it took me like 45 mins to compose my response. The pinnacle of my dsmtuners involvement at the moment will be when someone posts "Clean out your PMs" in a thread...and I'm 26 away from that (roughly a "couple dozen"). I've been scouring the summitracing.com muffler section for Magnaflow mufflers that have twin-tips and roughly the same dimensions as a 2g muffler (I'm looking at eBay DP and catback deals that have the cliche' ricer 4" soup can tips and way-too-loud tones that I'll promptly eliminate with a stock-looking Magnaflow if possible).
