What's up guys, just got new mechanical boost gauge and oil temp(stock one does not work). Wanted to know how to install it. I'm pretty sure I understand the concept of the boost but not quite the oil temp. Pictures if possibleee, thanks again!

It means you would need to run a oil line into your cabin to the gauge. In the event of gauge or tubing failure, you would have hot oil squirting into your cabin.

Exactly that would just suck, OP just do yourself a favor and get an electronic. Its up to you but it will save you from ever thinking your interior will be hosed with oil.

Yep. Electrics aren't that much, and soooo much better. I had a mechanical in my Camaro for the longest time, it never leaked or anything. But when I unhooked it I had oil all over the place. Trust me, I only ever use electric oil gauges anymore.
