I am finally getting tired of dealing with my car having a bad idle along with other problems because of the hacked maf. So I picked up a EVO 8 maf yesterday for a kick'n deal. Now, I have to tackle the inability to use my old intake with the new maf(round vs. oval) Does anyone know if an evo intake will fit on a 2g? I am just looking for something easier than custom fabbing an intake.

Why don't you just contact some place like Greenleaf and get a used 2G MAS for $60? Shop around the junk yards for this as well. Here is a link that should help you out.

If I wanted a 2g maf, I would of bought one. I go the evo maf so that I could benefit from the higher flow rating. I am just looking to see if anyone knows about the intake piping from the maf to the turbo. I know the wiring and have read all the links.

Why not just get a 1g intake pipe if the evo maf is round? The evo intake pipe will fit but the VC breather and charcoal canister is going to be on the other side.

So are you saying that the intake on a 1g is the same as the Evo, just flipped around? If so, i will just buy an intake for an evo and put it on my car. I just didn't want to buy one if it was going to be different. What size opening is the 1g maf? The Evo maf is a 3inch round.

thr evo8 and 1g intakes are both approx 3" round not oval you can just use a 1g intake and hook the evo 8 mas right up just like it was ment to be
