Could these have been my hesitation?

Just changed out my spark plugs. Went with NGK bpr6es gapped at .028. Had no idea what plugs I was running since I just bought it. Turns out they are NGK bpr6ek's with a split top. All four are black and there's probably no way to actually measure gap on these with the coin ramp style gapper. Just looked and realized my car is running with "Beck Arnley" wires...sweet:notgood:

I was getting a massive hesitation/bucking above 3500rpms once the boost was hitting. I'm about to go hit the road and see if this helped.

Was that the problem? Let us know when your done driving it. I might be having the same problem.

From first drive at engine being somewhat warmed up it was 100% the fix to change the plugs. Which to me is amazing considering the bucking that it was doing previously. I mean it felt like I was running over dead bodies in the road.

Properly gapped good plugs FTW.

Now, if I could only get traction at 5k rpms in fwd while boosting on 4 bald tires in 2 inches of snow....I've got some other things to fix, LOL.

Wow, those plugs were garbage. You definently found a problem, if not THE problem.

Oh, and whether or not your tires are bald, your not going to get traction in snow with a FWD turbo DSM. Shit, I don't even get traction with AWD in the snow (albight it's probably better than FWD, but slipping is half my fun LOL

Haha oh i know. fwd + evoIII 16g + bald tires + snow/ice = there was no way in hell i was going to get traction.
