How difficult would it be to do a evo III engine and tranny in a 2nd Gen eclipse?

just like doing a 6 bolt swap into a 2g. although im not sure if the tranny will bolt right in as the 2g has mounts on the tranny where the 1g has them on the motor. check the evo3 trans if it has front and rear mounts it will be as easy as a 6 bolt swap.

I have answered this question to many times your not searching and its irritating, it will work, if your a GST do what gst people do fwd an awd tranny, now if your awd it bolts up with no problems but your have to change your final drive. Go to tre order you a new crown wheel and pinion and install it in the tranny(professional unless you know what your doing) and bolt it up.

I could be a WISEMAN just for answering this question so many times.

Its true.
the evo 1-3 engine is just your standard 7bolt with a FEW extras.
Don't let anyone tell you different. It is not a 6bolt and it does not come with the cyclone Intake Manifold.
They are just like a normal 7bolt only 9.0-1 compression ratio, much batter intake manifold obviously better turbo, ex manifold and O2 housing. and Depending on where it came from 510 or 560 Injectors. I agree this issue has come up a bunch.
