[RESOLVED] What is this plug

I just bought this car, 91 eclipse gs w/4g63t. Well I found this plug in the engine bay disconnected, it comes out of the wiring loom that passes by the intake manifold on the driver side. It was just hanging down by the vacuum lines and I'm just wondering what its for and where it plugs into. I would figure this out myself but I just ordered some factory service manuals off of ebay and they haven't got here yet so I figured I would ask the all-knowing dsmtuners board.

That looks to me like it could be a MAS plug, Mine are unplugged because i run a MAP set up. Unless your running one as well or a different form of tuning that should be plugged in

A picture of the front of the plug would help, but I believe that is a plug which goes on your ignition coil right under neath the driver side of the intake manifold. And if not there it is for your ac compressor.

Wouldnt be a MAS plug its right next to the intake manifold.

could be for the A/C compressor

I think it probably is a plug for the a/c comp or something, as this car has a/c but none of the stuff is there.

Nope, not the same plug. heres a pic of the front of the plug.

If it is hanging by a vacuum line it may be one of the three solenoids that sit to the right of the original picture on the firewall. Post a pic of that area, or at least check it out for yourself.

I am sure that is your ac compressor plug mine looks exactly like it.

I've already checked the firewall area, everything is plugged in. Like spoonman said I'm pretty sure it is probably for the a/c comp so I am not going to worry about it, I have already searched all around under the intake mani for any unplugged sensors before I made this post and there were none which is why I made this post.

Ah ya that would make sense. Didn't even bother to look where the plug was in the engine bay sorry about that. Ya i have the same plug unplugged since i yanked my a/c. Got a little scared i forgot something when i did my head gasket but nope just an a/c plug.
