ok so yesterday my axel bearings went by by...i was driving to school and everything seemed fine...but when i got to school i had to make a u-turn and when i did i heard a pop so i parked went to class but when I got back in to drive my acceleration was gone and my MPH just shoot up when i give it throttle (exactly like my clutch was slipping) so i pull over inspect my axels/tranny and find that my driver side outer cv boot is ripped and the axel is loose in there and if i turn the wheel all the way i can pull the axel out of that joint...there is no bearings in there anymoreee

I need a FAQ on replacing these i cant find one.

It is best to replace the whole axle not just the bearings for that joint. Its possible to replace just those pieces but it is a lot easier to just replace the entire thing. Mostly only axle rebuilders have access to the internal pieces of the cv axle joint. Its not something you can get from your local parts store. Plus if one side completely fell apart than the other joint on the axle is probably worn out as well.

If I misunderstood what you were saying and you just want a walk through on how to replace the axle than here are a couple. :thumb:
