2g 4g63 turbo rebuild ideas

im rebuilding the motor in my 97 gst i want to do the internals so i dnt have to go back in later. im lookin for some other opionions on what performance parts i should put in. Your opion will be greatly appreciated. my brother is gettin a mustang and thinks hes's a bad ass and i wanna show him up

In all honesty, if you have the time, money and knowledge I would definitely recommend building a 6bolt motor. As far as your build, this depends on your funds. This is what I would do..

6bolt block
4g64 2.4 crank
Eagle Rods
Weisco Forged Pistons
ACL Race Bearings
ARP hardware
Mitsubishi 4layer Metal Headgasket

Then of course the basics.. decking the head and block, turning the crank if needed, honing, etc. Full gasket kit, new water pump, timing belt kit (including tensioner), oil pump, etc.

Depending on your power goals a stock head would do fine.
