I'm kinda stuck right now, as to what i want to do, and how far i want to take my car, I've got almost all of the parts for a 2.3, Crank, spare block, Eagle rods, Wiseco pistons, head studs, and a semi-built head with BC 280's, manley 1mm over valves, and BC springs. I'm just missing a new balancer, and some odds and end.
Right now, my turbo setup is a PTE 50 trim, non bb, SBR cast manifold with external gate(not hooked up), Punishment racing 3" downpipe with recirc, and 3" exhaust. Cool side is SBR 2.5 intercooler, JNZ/JM intake, and 1g TB.
Engine management is DSMlink, MAFT, wideband, and other assorted gauges.
I feel that the new motor will probally give me boost a little bit earlier than i would like it, as well as overrunning the the thing, and make it extremely out of its effieciency range.
I'd like to upgrade to a larger turbo that would be better suited for this motor, but it seems that the ideal option is a t3 setup. Unless i'm missing something here, and there is a nice mitsu flange turbo that will suit my needs.
I dunno if i want to spend the cash on a new manifold, new downpipe, and such.
Any reccomendations on a decent mitsu flange turbo that will work for me?
Or am i basically beating a dead horse?
Trans is a shep stage 3, SBR 4000 clutch, and 4 bolt rear.
