Clutch grabbing 3 1/2in of the floor?

Well I just put the fidanza 2.1 in. First clutch install. I got all the air out the system and the master cylinder rod is all the way out. Also shimmed the ball with 2 washers. I let my foot of the clutch and its grabbing 3 1/2in. Is this good or bad?

What, did you measure it with a ruler? Sounds right to me... but Ive never measured it...
