for one i cant find the 3 intake manifold bolts that i need to remove.
Head Rebuild
this site is what im using as my reference.

well i cant find the 3 bolts its talking bout.

then i was looking on my crank pully to try and find TDC and i cant see any marks on my pulley whatsoever (maybe they wore off i dont know) so im having trouble finding TDC. I saw red marks on my 2 timing belt gears so i was wondering what position i need them in for TDC. and how do I know if its on the compression stroke or intake stroke?

I was also having trouble with some hoses. Ill try and get a pick tomorrow of the hosses i cant get off but yeah i cant get some off.

also on my exhaust mani i got all the bolts off accept the ones inbetween each pipe but on the underside. there the ones really hard to reach. does anyone have advice how to get to those bolts and remove them?

thanks for all the help you guys have been giving me.

Jeff

If I remember right . The three bolts are on the brace behind the intake . Two up near the top . The other one is at the block , near axle . Should not need to remove that one to pull head .

The timing marks are on the timing cover , not the pulley . There is a mark on the pulley .

all thanks to vfaq.com
and bumping your thread does not get help faster
1. crank pulley showing mark
2. timing cover with marks
