window wiring ???

Need to know how to hotwire my power window . I have no engine in car , ignition switch , ecu ....I need to remove weather stripping to sell . Need a way to move it down and then back up .

my guess would be.... Take off door panel, find the Positive and Negative wires for the Power Window Motor, tap into them, and use a 12 volt source to move up\down, one way the window should go up...other it should go down...

If you have a Chilton\Haynes it should tell you in there under Chassis Wiring or something to that effect...sorry i dont have specifics....never been in a 2G...

Neither have I (2g) . It is a 1g 90 Tsi . My avatar is a 4g .

wow way for me to pay attention...my bad...

Looking at my Haynes there should be a Red Wire and a Green wire that control the window motor.
