I was curious which port on the 90 style oil filter housing is used for a turbo oil feed. I purchased the stainless oil feed kit for my turbonetics t3 60-1 hi-fi and was curious which one was the correct one.

It appears there are two ports to choose from and I wanted to make sure I choose the correct one.

Also, being this turbo is NOT water cooled, I was wondering the best method for blocking off the water return line from the turbo to the engine (appears to be a barbed nipple on the water pipe right next to the power steering pump. I already pluged the feed line on the water pipe with the supplied plug that came in the stainless feed kit from Slowboyracing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :dsm:

Its the top one on the oil filter housing, as for the water return line you could ghetto rig it with part of the hose and a bolt.

i removed the hole water pipe and put one in from a 90.

Excellent guys, thanks alot. I did notice that the upper fitting was unfiltered oil, as it was in the same port as the oil feed to the oil filter. At lunch today I took the bottom plug out and sure as enough, its the port that supplies clean oil from the filter to the engine.

Anyone have any good ideas on blocking the water return line from the stock turbo to water pipe, besides a bolt inside a rubber hose WTF?
