Topic title is what happened and I was wondering if the connector or even the whole fan is alright? If water..in my case radiator fluid spilled on the fan connector will it ruin it?

I cannot test it because my radiator is out of my car.

Your old radiator failed from the plastic dying with age. Another used radiator will be asking for it to fail again. 1-800-RADIATOR is cheap and good, and will have a new one to you within an hour.

The coolant won't hurt the fan nor its wiring. That thing already lives in the rain.

HAHAHA! Thanks for the number Defiant. The funny thing about 1-800-RADIATORS is that the person I was talking to had a DSM as well and he gave me his myspace hahahaha. What a small world.

But yeah, he sold me an OEM radiator with lifetime warranty for 151 shipped.

So, if it fails, they come around and kill you?

Pretty good price. How long did it take it to land on your porch?

I called them at around 6 PM and ordered from the warehouse or whatever in Vallejo. The guy told me that they will ship it to the Santa Clara warehouse then to my home. It got here around noon like what the guy told me. I say A++++ for 1-800-RADIATOR! Thanks again for the referral! :thumb:
