Thread size tp plug coolant line for the turbo

I didn't know where to post this I need the tread size to plug the coolant line that feeds the turbo becasue my new turbo dones't need them. The pipe I am talking about is the one that connects to the water pump. Has anyone one done this if so what were you differnet methods. Please advise. Thanks.

I know its the same as the oil galley plugs in the block, i used thoem to block off those lines before, or you can try and get your hands on a N/T water pipe.

Thanks for the info. I have found the bolt size. For someone wants to know it is 14x1.5x10

Remember, you are plugging an inverted flare fitting with a regular bolt. You are going to have to seal the bolt somehow. I would suggest using a copper crush washer.

Also, I measured it to be 16x1.5, either my calipers or my brain is off.

Like stated above, it might almost be more appealing to try to snag a N/T pipe, just less sealing to worry about, unless you plan to go back to watercooled in the future.

Thanks for the info, I found the bolt size in another thread so I don't know if that is correct. I am going to try in find one if not I am going to plug it with a bolt and I will use a copper washer. Thanks for the info.
