Cost of stock fuel pump from NAPA or Schucks?

Hey, what does a fuel pump cost from NAPA or Schuk/Kragen/Checkers or any other loacl place?

Can you get a higher pressure one?

Ok, I've found them on NAPA for $150+, I coudl buy a walbro 255 for that much. Can those be bought locally? Where should I look?

Just buy one from eBaymotors from a good company. Itll be there right after the new year.

your best bet locally is look to for a local speedshop, if u can wait a couple days extremepsi.com has fair prices and shipping is fast

Ebay. You can get a genuine Walbro 255 for around $100.

Yeah, I'd be hoping to get one by tomorrow. Or the day after. Long story short, I am looking at getting a talon with a bad pump, and if that is all that is wrong, I hope to transport it back home (100 miles) and I'd need to do it by this weekend.

I would call a junk yard to get one for dirty cheap to just to get you home, Then have the 255 coming in the mail.

You will be surprised how many local places sell walbro pumps. Call around some places and ask. You could get a 190lph and it will drop right in. If you go with a 255lph you may have over run on the stock fuel pressure regulator.

I would really not think about buying a local auto part store pump. It may fail like a lot of there electrical parts.

I guess I'll just try calling around. Maybe I can do the junk yard idea. I already know that I would need an AFPR if I got the 255, but i figure I could survive the rich mixture for a couple days.
