cambridge,
hi.
I have a fully built 2.35l stroker motor and i have real hks 264 intake 272 exh cams.

i bought these cams for my car when it was a 2.0l and now ive been informed that they are inadeauate for the demands of the stroker.

does anyone know which cams are the best for stroker ?
brian crower 288s?
i dont know....any info would be great..
thanxs

You can look at it like this. Lets say you run a 272 cam setup in your stroker. It will perform like a set of 264's, dropping into a 2.0. So you can go a little aggressive without issues. I think 280's are great in strokers, because they actually do something. My mechanic likes to run 288's in his strokers but I think they are little to aggressive for everyday driving.

my buddy had 272sin his stroker they weren't even that noticeable he swap them out for 280's and got it retuned he gained over 40 whp by just uprading his cams!i dont think i would go any bigger then 280 if this is a street driven care though? his car does have a rough idle now, its the only downside though

some people like the choppy idle, like me :D If you dont mind a little less low end I would go with at least a 280, or a fp3x to get some great power and have some good top end :)
