Ok, so where the cam angle sensor should be, I have a plug there that poped out while I was driving ? Now my whole engine bay is covered with oil. What would cause it to pop out ?

ok, but does anyone know what the part is called ? So i can go to the dealer and get a new one

Last November I had the front main seal blow out big time on my GST, it took 6qts of oil just to get it the 40 miles home. Long story short, I took it to a mechanic that didnt end up working on it but let me use his shop and specialty tools to do it myself. It wasnt just a bad front main, it was a bad head gasket that was leaking cylinder pressure into the crank case and blowing out seal after seal as I replaced them. I went through replacing the front main, cam seals, valve cover, and PCV valve before I saw just a little leak coming out of the head gasket area. So be sure just to check and make sure that there is no leak there before you go out replacing parts and blowing them back out because of a bad head gasket.

idk, its on the passanger side of the engine, high up on the head. I think its the area where the crank angle sensor should be but my car doesnt have one(2g talon). Anyone know the name of that part ?

The crank angle sensor is not up on the top of the head, its down in the timing belt area at the bottom of the drivers side of the engine. I think what you're talking about is that rubber half circle that is part of the valve cover seal.

Perhaps you meant CAM angle sensor? :) If so, on a '95, there is no exterior cam angle sensor, so they put a round rubber plug, similar to the half-moon gasket. For some reason, you don't get a replacement ROUND plug with a new valve cover gasket, but you do get a half-moon gasket. Don't ask me why. You MAY need to go to Mitsubishi to get the round piece. I wouldn't run the car until you get it replaced. While you're in there, you might as well replace the whole valve cover gasket anyway. Don't forget a little RTV.

ok, so all i need is the rubber plug ? There isnt anything behind it that I could of lost too ?
