I checked my logger and i get 9 counts of knock

Well I checked my logger and i get 9 counts of knock, I get a CEL for knock sensor and i just replaced it, it only comes on when i hit the throttle a bit. i cant rev all the way out , only goes to about 5500rpm before sputtering like hitting rev limiter. When i do give it gas it feels like there is so much load. Also i have the tune set at basic.

Do you think that i put the knock sensor on wrong? i tried to find all the vacuum leaks. Please help me i have my car sitting for about 6 months. I want to get it moving.

Did you have this problem before you changed the knock sensor? It sounds like its the knock sensor, it could also be bad motor mounts causing the engine to shake when its under load. But since you said you barely give it throttle I would say its the knock sensor.

well i do have the broken motor mount. you think that could be it?

9 counts of knock, is the default value used by the ECU when there's no sensor detected. Check connections, torque value, make sure your Ecu is well plugged in. In other words, your knock sensor is not working at all. This has nothing to do, with a motor mount.

yeah my harness that goes tothe ecu was cut up pretty bad by the previous owner, who had removed the afc before he sold the car to me. I did not know about it until about 3 months after when my ecu went out. this there any place where i can find the diagram to the harness(like which wires go where and colors, because mine are all messed up) Thank you.

i took out my ecu and and placed it against the side. Its grounded and the CEL is gone.

also i just need to do the timing on the car because it only revs to about 5000rpm.
