hey got my car running 94 gs with gst motor and decided to check ecu the model # is m166256 i believe it to be a 94 gs ecu if i bought a 93 talon tsi awd ecu would it fit and would i have to modify it also can i hurt the car by driving it with a gs ecu thanks alot SGT Foster

He has a N/T car that he has turbo'd, and wants to run a turbo ECU for fuel management.

Are the ECU pinouts and connectors the same? That is the question.

Yes it will hurt the car with the n/a ecu. It doesnt have the right fuel/timing maps and it doesnt have a knock sensor circuit. So basically, you can run 35* timing at full boost with no knock control, which equals melted parts. The turbo ecu will plug right in, you just have to wire in the knock sensor, the 7th wire from the turbo mas, and the fpr solenoid.
