** im on the stock T25 but am upgrading in a month or so. the FMIC kit is the SSautochrome 2g kit. My car is auto. onto the rest.

Ok , so i got my intercooler mounted up good last night , the bumper cut and fits correctly. I got the charge pipe from the intake to the intercooler connected and fitting properly. and i went to bed hoping to wake up and finish the last pipe that goes from the turbo to the intercooler. and i tried a few diffrent ways, but cant seem to make it work.... i know people have used the T25 w/ this fmic kit.

So if anyone can provide pics / direction to help me it would be much appreciated. as it is my only car and currently sits in my driveway and leaves me bumming rides LOL.....

:D another Vegas DSMer

Ive installed this on my car and its really a task if u have an automatic, u will have to relocate the AT trans cooler back farther than where it currently sits...what i did was cut the stock SMIC piping and made a sharp bend...worked but didn't seem all that safe for daily driving, with the auto u will also notice a lot of lag from the t25 with the big a$$ intercooler, i would suggest u wait to change the turbo along with intercooler.

Ive seen some people cut off the 90* bend with grinder or dremel, that would work too

ill contact u on my space :D

Yea dylan , i hit back your myspace message......

maybe you could come over and show me how yours is ?

i got the pipe to under the crossmember facing the drivers side now , just the pipe from the intercooler keeps hitting things and doesnt seem long enough..

oh and its too late to revert back to the SMIC already cut the stock soft pipe.......

i wish i could come over and show u but if u talk to Sean he will tell u i have had problems with my car since the turbo install

running rich, car has a hard time getting speed, etc... just another nightmare in my life

:talon:

i think i might have figured out a solution, but im at work so cant try it, but im sure it should work as long as i can get the bottom pipe to clear.

but it would use the stock pipe , and it does go under the crossmember. if it works , im taking pics and doing a write up to helps others that may run into this in the future.

my solution worked perfect. and only hangs about an inch below the crossmember. maybe 2. but my car isnt lowered so i should be ok. boost leak tested it to 20psi and it held. no leaks except for the throttlebody shaft seals, i knew about those. i gotta get those done.....

but i took plenty of pics and ill do a writeup tommarow to help others that have a T25 and an auto awd car. maybe it will save them someheadaches. i took plenty of pictures to go along with it......

night guys.
