Hey people, I have a problem that's giving me a hard time solving. The car previously ran good. Only had some trouble (leaning at high rpms) but nothing more. Well, I had it for a clutch change, everything went great. The car started like always, then it did like it was going to shut down so I parked and turned it off. When I went to start it again, it didn't. Just cranked. I took off the fuel return line and cranked the car and no fuel came out of it. Then I took off the CAS and pluged it back and the fuel return line shot some gas. But it didn't start. After about 30 min. I tried again and it started. Today I got a new fuel filter, rewired the pump with the relays and stuff, got new 8mm spark wires, plugs were ok, $20 of 93 octane in tank. After all that, the car started great. Turned it off, and back on and it started again. So I went for a drive about 15 min. When I tried to start it, no luck. The fuel press. gauge goes to about 53psi while cranking but it won't start. The return line doesn't throw fuel while cranking, except when I stop cranking. What can cause this??? The fuel pressure regulator( stock one)?? The coil packs?? Transitor?? CAS ?? If the car rests for about an hour, it start like nothing happens. But right after turning it off, it won't start. I really need help!!

try a new cas.. they control spark and fuel.. by determining number one tdc.. we dont have cramk sensors at the crank for tdc so we have the cas which is like both

Should I get the entire CAS or just the plug?? Right now, my plug comes loose sometimes because it doesn't have the metal thing that holds it in place. I will check into that, and also thanks to snowborder for the thread, I read it and got some good ideas to check tomorrow morning, it's 1am now so can't work on the car.

I'd get the entire CAS, afterall from it being loose and all, it may have broken or damaged something inside. If that doesnt work, run codes and go from there. There's no sense in spending a lot of money on things if its just something dumb causing this. Let us know.
