After I threw the new head on My pump is not primeing when I turn the key to acc. power. I have a logger hooked up and I can go in to the MMCD test tools and I can test the pump and it turns on and I also tested the FPR on the logger it clicked so assume its good also threw a coolant temp sensor code, but I dont belive it has anything to do with the fuel pump not turning on, When I did this I took all the old vac lines out, plated the egr, and ran vacume line from the FPR to the intake manifold, its a 1990 tsi is there something I missed? I belive all the sensors are plugged in right.

update

I have fuel and spark I just cant get the damn thing running, I also checked compresion its 130 across the board, bran new ngkrbpr7es plugs, the shop said they were pre-gaped I hope there right.. I tryed flipping the CAS 180 degrees over and over I keep cranking but either way I cant get anything but a few spudders.

Don't take the shops word about the plugs being pre-gapped. Take them out and gap them correctly. Should take all of 3 minutes.
