Ok... I have this weird problem, and it looks like it only happens in 2nd and 3rd gear...

It revs just fine all the way up to 6000rpm (10 psi of boost) in first gear...
Then when I'm accelerating in 2nd gear it jumps from 3500rpm up to 5000rpm in less than a sec (boost gets stuck at 6psi)...

I then tried to do the same in third gear, and it is exactly the same behavior; it jumps from 3500rpm up to 5000rpm in a eye-blink (boost gets stuck at 10psi)

It feels like the clutch starts slipping... but the clutch is brand new, it has about 600 miles on it...

Any thoughts?

If your clutch is new, did you let it set before you started gunning it?

You have to give it about 500-600 miles of easy driving and at least 80-90 starts with the clutch pedal down to get it set; or else once you get over a certain engine speed, your clutch will eat it's way out. If it still slips, check your intake pipes. (I had something like that, but when I opened the hood, my intake hose had popped off right before the throttle body. Didn't see that coming.) Just make sure everything's connected and tight first.

Yeah, the clutch was installed about 600 miles ago... but I'll follow your recommendation and I'll let it set at least 300 miles more...

I will also check all my pipes... and make sure everything is tight....

Thanks

Watch your road speed, too. If your not speeding up during that jump, it's definately a clutch thing. Also, if it's still making that 'new clutch sound,' that's what it is. (It should sound like a giant vacuum or like a sanding wheel not touching anything.)

Other than that, I'm not sure what it could be.
