I am converting my 1997 GsX with a motor and tranny swap. Problem with the tranny. I had an A/T and it is getting replaced by a 1990 Tsi 5spd.

My problem is the speed sensor. The 1g is manual the 2g is electronic. How can I fix this or is there any adapter for it?

Thanks

You have me lost on what kind of transmission your putting into what kind of car.

What I do know is that the motor mount locations make it impossible to put a 1g tranny into a 2g. And if thats what you think your gonna do you better worry about that more than the speed sensor.

1990 Tsi Awd 5 spd going into 1998 Eclipse Gsx AwD that was Auto. The original 1990 Motor plus tranny are going into the 1998.

Motor Mounts are taken care of. Will post full details once all this is done.
