what s ecu 90 to ecu 92 diference?

i am from mexico and i whan to thanks to dsmtunners for let me be a member i a dsm since 2001 now i have 2 dsm one is a talon tsi awd and the other is a eclipse spyder 2.4 but now i make a swap to gst 1g but a week after muy ecu blows! now i whant to know if i can put a 93 tsi ecu because the original ecu was the md 145903 an the vendors say the 91 and up is diferent does it? some help will be thanks!

They are different but you can still use it.

You would need to swap Pin 6 and 14.

I do believe that they need to be tranny specific as well... AKA Automatic in a automatic, Manual in Manual.

That was a little hard to understand, but if I understood it rite here is a step by step.

Yes you have to use an auto ecu in a auto kind of. If you use a 5 speed ecu in an auto you also have to use the 5 speed injectors and visa versa. Automatic ecus are set up for the automatic's 390cc injectors and the 5 speed ecu is set up for 5 speed's 450cc injectors.
