T-belt slip, need answers :(

Well the talon I just got jumped timeing and I need some input, I dont see the chips in the valves I dont have the best eyes in the world... but the tops of the pistons look pretty tore up, and from further looking the slap marks on the pistons had black junk in them so I dident cause the big ones, whoever did the head job put a head on the pistons with marks on them... I scratched some of them out but they look kinda deep, should I change them? or just take the head to a shop and get it decked and valve jobs and slap it on?! I wanted to drive this for winter..

i say send the head to the shop to be done up... its gonna have to be done anyways. in the mean time you can make up your mind.

The piston crowns have valve reliefs forged into them. Sand off the sharp edges with some emery cloth, don't let any dust or grit fall down onto the piston wall.

+1 this happend to me i did what defiant said and I and Still driving my car

The pistons are very strong compared to the valves, it doesn't take much to bend the valves, the pistons should be fine.

thanks guys.. heads almost done its at the shop now I had all my extra parts laying around for just such a thing... so 95$ for it all done and decked so I'll be sanding my pistons in awhile here... thanks again.
