I just recently got my Talon running right. When i bought the car the clutch felt good.. never drove it since it was misfiring but it felt normal. The previous owner drove it the other day once I got it running good to swap the screens out in it. I went the other night to pick it up and drive it home. When I got in the car the clutch pedal was pretty much all the way to the ground. I would not go into any gear. Only grind. I started the car up in reverse and it worked well there but it didn't want to come out of reverse. You guys think its the clutch thats gone or fluid or what? I couldn't find where to check the fluid at. I'm not too familiar with these cars and it was 11:30 at night with no light.

The car is about 45 mins away so if I get time I will go look and mess with it. I did pump them the other night and it did start working fine. Drove it maybe 10 feet to get it ready for a test drive. 30 mins later it wouldn't go into gear again... I'll have to go check out the fluids during the day.

Try bleeding the system. Also check for brake fluid at the slave cylinder and the master cylinder. Look up above the gas pedal and see if anything looks "wet".

If its a slave cylinder, the clutch pedal should still be coming back up and going down, just won't have any pressure.

Bleed the system. Put the pedal to the floor, open bleeder, close bleeder, release pedal. Add fluid to resorvior as needed. Piece of cake.

I went yesterday and bled it.. Took a lot of pumping to get the pedal to come back up. After about 30 mins I did get the pedal to come up and everything to work correctly. It is a little wet under the dash on the clutch. I'll have to get it all checked out.. On another note, first time to drive the car yesterday and it ran very good. Thanks for your help.. I was afraid of having to spend 800-1000 for a new clutch installed.
