[RESOLVED] Whats this intercooler from?

Like the title says. Some kid gave me this intercooler for a beer.
I have searched and searched. At first I thought maybe a 3000gt or dodge daytona
But all the pics I came across didnt match.I can not figure out what it goes to.
It has the chrysler logo on it.
There are 3 sets of numbers. The first set is 4266971 the second set is 18398 and the last set is 301t7.
It measures 15" end tank to end tank. 3" deep and 6 1/2" tall.

Any help would be appreciated.

well, it kinda looks like the intercooler of my 1990 pontiac grandprix 3.0 turbocharger. it's mounted under the hood in plain sight right on the radiator on the driver side. but it's rare to find these cars and i have only seen two of them in my life time. but i'm not so sure.

It's an old Dodge Daytona intercooler. The only reference I could find is this guys turbo 12 sec Caravan.

I always thought it would be fun to do something similar with an Mitsubishi Expo following the Colt/Mirage swap guidelines.

That sure is it.
I wonder if it would work better than a stock 1g intercooler.
It is bigger so i figure it would.
I think im ganna mount it like a front mount and see what happens.

Back on topic.you guys think it would flow better than the stock 1g intercooler?
Im ganna mount it like a front mount and build custom pipes.I have a pipe bender and all the welders I could ever need.

From the sounds of that Im guessing it would. How big are the inlet and outlet tubes?

Yup thats definitely an old Chrysler unit. My friend used to be really into turbo Chrysler's and Omni's and had a bunch of these laying around his garage. It looks like the mounting tab is broken though.

^^^ No, it's really a Dodge Daytona IC. Look at the link that was given for the Daytona IC. That T-Bird supercoupe IC looks similar, but is not what has been posted.
