After doing the 1ga to 1gb tail light swap...

I start up my car, none of my dash lights, or Air control guage(whatever tech. term is) turn on. But as soon as i step on the brakes, They all come on.

And when I turn the daytime running lights to the 'on' position. It blows the fuse.

Does anyone have any ideas of what is going on?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have the original brake light wire hooked into the new parking light wires, and the original parking light wire grounded.

ok so after a few tries of messing with wires... I have discovered this, the talon tails have 3 bulbs for brake lights\park lights. When only the inside 2 are hooked up(on either side) everything works fine. as soon as the outer bulb is wired in, everytime i step on the brakes the dash lights come on.

Any people who have done this swap would be very helpful with the wiring.

Thanks!
