hey guyz. i have a 1993 eagle talon with a 6-bolt cyclone 4g63T swap. my tps went bad. my question is what car do i say i have when i buy it at the dealer or autozone? reason i ask is because even though the body is 93 talon, the manifold is a cyclone and im scared i might put the wrong one. i apreciate the help

well that i know. i need a 90-94 1st gen TPS. but the part numbers change according to year and spec. i called the dealer and i told him to give me the part numbers for 90-94 2.0 FWD and AWD some part numbers were diffrent.

For future reference from the FSM:

2G 4G63T TPS
1 - Green/Yellow (+5v Sensor Power)
2 - Brown/Red (TPS output voltage)
3 - Yellow/Red (IPS switch)
4 - Black (Ground)

1G 4G63T TPS
1 - Green/Red (+5v Sensor Power)
2 - Green/White (TPS output voltage)
3 - NC
4 - Green/Black (Ground)

i still have doubts on what TPS to buy. PLEASEEEEEEEEE someone help me. its a 1993 talon with a 6-bolt 4g63T cyclone swap, but i dunno what car to say i have since it is a swap and it is a cyclone manifold help me ###

Just buy the three wire one. Ive switched back and forth between my stock one and the one from my cyclone engine during troubleshooting numerous times. Both perform exactly the same! If you have a datalogger you should adjust it to read 10% or just go by voltage as stated above if you dont have one.

The difference between the 3 pin and the 4 pin is that the 3 pin does not have the provisioning for the throttle stop position sensor. 3 pins + 1G TB's have the sensor external, while the 2g's have the 4 pin because the throttle stop is including in the TPS body.

Since you have a 6 bolt engine with a 1G, One would safely say and ASSUME that you have a 1G (91-94) TB; so get the 3 pin one.
