if i decide to go with some coilovers are they like springs that you need to use the struts with install or do you just install the coilovers without struts?

Coilovers are a full set of spring and strut. They are most likely adjustable.

Care full what you buy, there is a lot of junk out there. And they sell coilovers with out struts, but you will want performance struts because of car being lowered your stock ones cant handle it.

Ground control makes a good coilover adj spring. Tokico or KYB are good shocks and offer adj dampening.
