Basically long story short, you need dsmlink or something similar to add more timing or else you won't see any improvements but rather notice that your car is running slower than before.

You could throw a little in there for knock suppression, but running straight race gas and not being able to take advantage of the extra timing and leaner AFR's would be a waste.

If you can add timing with that your fine. I usually add timing until I see just under 1* of knock. With race gas you should be able to run more boost and timing but as mentioned before on other posts it depends on the setup.

Also, just be aware that running race gas long term will destroy O2 sensors due to the lead content.

Like others said though, you can use the race gas for knock suppression if your attempting to push more boost, but in general it isn't going to get you anything without the ability to alter timing.

You cant add timing with an SAFC. If you dont have a wbo2 to tune the race fuel I would not do it. You could run a lot more boost with race gas since it fights detonation. You could even run a leaner A/F and find the lean best torqe. Without a wbo2 I would not run it though.

If he's tuning 660s with SAFC, the ECU will get artificially low load (g/rev) numbers than the MAS is "saying", so it will advance timing from a lower load part of the timing map as a result, and timing will be more advanced than it would for the actual load. If he has knock problems already, it would help, otherwise, it won't.
