I have been using ecu+ since April and have been quite happy with it. It is not as robust feature-wise as DSM Link, but for my goals it is a good fit. If you are going to build a monster DSM, I would spend the additional $ and go DSM Link as others have said. There is alot of good information on the ecuplus.com website, and the Big Guy (i.e. Tom Collins) has been very helpful and provided excellent service. I got the plug n' play version and it was an easy install. I also recently upgraded my turbo and fuel system and was able to get things dialed in pretty easy. In my case, it was noob-friendly and I definitely need that.

How do the drag and dyno modes work? Do they give you pretty close numbers or is it just a waste of time?

I haven't used the the drag feature yet nor have I had a chance to benchmark the dyno feature against a "real" dyno. Pretty much just adjusted the fuel and timing maps to get the a/f ratio where I wanted. I'm using a PLX wideband and that was easy to interface it with the ecu+ unit.
