So obviously I'll be installing a mbc and was doing my research and was looking at ways to not hook it up and came across the right way. Supposedly this: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237982 I'm using a t28 like the bottom pic and I notice both of the vaccume lines coming off the turbo just went straight to the mbc but I thought on the stock car there was a line that went to a selenoid underneath the intake. I didnt see a line and was just curious if this is the new and proper way to install it.

If I have made you angry about making a mbc thread I'am truely sorry.

brute's first MS Paint diagram is the correct way to install a ball-and-spring MBC, unless it's a TurboXS model, in which case, the lines are reversed.

What about that other line though, will it have any sort of effect if its not connected??

With the OEM setup, there are two separate lines that come from the compressor-side housing and the wastegate acuator. They are tee'd into one single hose. This hose is connected to the OEM boost solenoid. Then there is a third hose, which is connected to the intake. Just plug up that nipple (on the intake pipe) with a rubber vacuum cap and you'll be set.

It is also suggested that you cap off the top plastic nipple on the OEM boost solenoid (also with a plastic vacuum cap). If you're wondering where you can find these vacuum caps, most automotive stores carry them (such as NAPA). Just walk into the store and ask for some help if you're not sure what you're looking for.
