Hi Guys i just want to share with you what happened with me today, i was boosting normaly and suddenly i heard a weird noise from the engine so i stopped to check and everything was ok. then after than everytime i turn to the right i was hearing a weird sound its like grinding

i went to the mechanic and we found out the the ALternator Bolt was cut into half and the alternator was hitting my chassis and producing this sound ???????? its very weird did it happen to you before?
they mechanic is saying that he needs to remove the turbo so he can fix it and its a long long story and the big problem is that i dont trust my mechanic if he really can remove the turbo without destroying something else ?

my alternator has one bolt now and the it moving is it safe to drive with one bolt? or ?????

:( :( :(

if i remove the turbo does it need adjustment when i put it back ?

I would find a mechanic that is more experienced with these cars first off because you do not need to remove the turbo to remove the alternator.

Stick your hand down there and replace the bolt 10-15 min job tops. Also find a new mechanic because if he knew how to work on these cars he would know the turbo doesn't have to come out.

Wow uhhh yeah I took my alternator out yesterday and I didn't have to take my turbo out.. The only thing I'd advise is taking the fan out (4 10mm bolts) as you'll have more "wiggle room".

My car kind of makes the same noise but my bolt was fine. However, my bracket is pretty messed up.
