I frequent the junkyards and they always have non turbo first gens and i was wondering if there is anything of them that is worth getting? thanks...

Valve covers are always nice to have, either to powdercoat/paint, or in case you crack one. Interior parts and trim pieces are good also.

yeah i went to one today and got all the side fiberglass pieces, fuses, light switches, side moldings , some interior parts and a stock intercooler for $70. go to pascoautowrecking.com they have like 3 tsi's, 2 lasers, and 1 non tsi eagle. if u live by the tri citys its a place to hit up.

If you have the time grab a mint 1G dash they are rare to hind in good quality, as well as black leather 1G seat's( I found a mint seat of black leather's, and people want them so bad LOL). Also engine wiring harness' are good to have, I have an extra that Im slowly rewiring aka removing all wiring that isn't needed for weight reduction. Also fender's are good to have, and all the bolt's you can get...but baggy them, and label the bolt's for what they go to.
