Hey, I have a 98 Eclipse GST and want DSMLink. I was wondering if there are websites out there that sell a package deal with DSMLink and a socketed EPROM ECU together?

Here is a place that at least carries socketed EPROM ECU's (as well as DSMLink): http://www.ffwdconnection.com/electronix.shtml. Hope this helps you.

Jumping Jehosephats Batman!! OMG $400 for a 1G EPROM and $300 for the 2G EPROM from them. That's insane! I got my '95 EPROM (from the Tuners classifieds :thumb:) for 225 socketed & shipped. Just look for good deals on the classifieds here.

Yeah but was your eprom thoroughly tested? I think you will find as time goes on you will see the price of oem eproms go up and up and up... they are getting more rare as the years go on... more people are blowing them up due to cap leakage. I wish I was savvy enough to reverse engineer the eprom ecu's and provide an "open source" turn key solution for replacing factory eproms. Don't try to steal my million dollar idea either. hahaa just kidding.

I bought an Eprom ECU from the classifieds for around 200 (can't remember) and then bought DSMLink from PerformanceDSM.com. I spent about 6 months looking in junkyards for Eproms before I gave up and bought one online. If you buy DSMLink and get on the forums, you might be able to find somebody that's selling their ECU or has an extra one. That's kinda the backwards way to do it though.

Seriously. Don't waist your time looking for them in the yards. People know that they are in demand. That is what I like about sending the ECU you find to DSMlink. If there is anything wrong with it they will make necessary repairs for a reasonable cost
