hello does anyone have a ballpark of the expected vacume for a 1g 6bolt with a totally stock motor save a metal head gasket and forced performance 2 cams>?? right now i see between 11-13 at a stock idle, is this normal

I had alow vacuum problem after a cam swap, Check and make sure your cam timing is perfect! line the 3 and 6 marks on each cam to the top off the head ( where the valve cover meets the head)

It all depends on your idle.

If you are at stock 750 idle with around a the base 5 timing mark you SHOULD be in between the listing you have. If you have mroe vacuum than that it means you have a leak some where.

Mine sits around 11-10. When it drops I know something is leaking.

11-13 probably sounds about right at a stock idle, with the FP2 cams. I see 15-16" with my 1X cams @ 750. On a side note, what kind of boost gauge are you using? Its not unlikely that if its a mechanical gauge (such as most Autometer) it can be off a couple psi or "s.
