Toronto,
So it finally happened the intake manifold gasket blew and there is alot of air pissing out from one corner and the car won't pressurize past 9psi with a powerfull compressor, so here is my question. What is the easiest way to remove the manifold with the engine still in the car. I there a write-up somewhere? to speed things up. Thanks

Also the car is a 2g with a 6-bolt I swapped in a few months ago.

Leave the Throttle Body and elbow on the manifold when you take it off, that way you can just take apart a coupler and not have to replace those gaskets.

Remove the throttle cable from the manifold and throttle body. Unplug all sensors and hoses to the manifold and TB, label them if you don't think you will remember where they go.

The injectors/ fuel rail can stay in, but it may help to move or remove them for access to the topside manifold bolts.

Remove the back engine block to manifold brace.

Remove the lower bolts and pop the manifold off and slide it off the studs.

The intake manifold brace is a pain to get off. But if you reach in from the passenger side and feel along the block there is a 14mm bolt (i think its 14mm) if you take that one off then you can pull the mani with the brace.
